In 1995 Jolt1r aka David Meister and Ire aka Meelobee practiced a lot of graffiti in our old hometown Lelystad. Because the midnight tours were always done together we thought it might be a nice idea to also come up with a clan name. We didn't need much time to come up with one, as we lived or spend most of our time on the Zandbank, which is a street in Lelystad, and we liked Dragons, because they have an impressive image, we thought let's call ourselves 'Zandbank Draken' which means so much as Sandbank Dragons. A clan is usually bigger then two people, we know, but maybe other artists would join later. Unfortunately the graffiti clan never became bigger then 6 - 7 people, and after the years the urge to go out spraying became less. Soon the clan would no longer exist as a graffiti unit.
